Interprofessional collaboration is increasingly considered most appropriate to treat complex diseases and to deliver care that centers on the patient—viewed not as a disease case but as a person. Coordination of diverse health professionals, insight into their different areas of expertise and multidisciplinary communication is required for successful interprofessional collaboration. Thus, interprofessional education (IPE) needs to finds its place in the curricula of all health professions. The conference posters describe IPE programs, theoretical approaches and IPE practice from all branches of healthcare.
